A good old fashioned British comedy
So refreshing to find a family movie that is British and not a cartoon! I watched this in a cinema packed with kids and they where laughing and cheering all the way through as Tim figured out how to spend the last 2 hours of his life. Tim's father has died and has left him hurt and confused about what is important in his life. When he discovers the Vitaltron, built by a suitably batty scientist (Siobhan Redmond), it's a chance for him to work out who he wants to spend the last 2 Hours of his life with. Also loved the twist at the end...
A rare gem for all the Family
2 Hours is a really enjoyable ride from start to finish. Its rare to see an independent film with such convincing and likeable lead actors especially from teenagers and it is an endearing and charming family film that anyone can enjoy. The production values are also really good and the production design and sets are really fantastic. I had the pleasure of seeing this in a cinema and the whole audience was engaged and laughing, it really brought people together as the genre should. Great film to watch, and the producers Di and Andromeda have done a fantastic job bringing it all together.
Sci-fi teen fun film for families
High concept British comedy sci-fi film with gorgeous teen cast, set to be stars of the future. They are a terrific team on screen and so watchable. Great music and a snappy script from Roland Moore take us through an enjoyable ride with some really surprisingly heart touching moment. Cameo roles of faces known and others rising make this an easy to enjoy family film, connecting predominantly with young teens but charming all ages.
SciFi morality play
All stops are pulled out for this glorious teenage romp. There is a certain innocence about this movie which put me in mind of the charm of Bill Forsyth's "Gregory's Girl" from back in 1980. It has style pace and an interesting plot which causes in one a taking stock of life's priorities. I look forward to seeing more movies from Mr Newton.
Terrible film
It's like a bad kids TV show, it's aspires to low budget. Bad on all levels. If you are five and have never seen a a film or TV programme you will love this, everyone else give it a miss.
