Trevor is 'between jobs'. He spends his days avoiding his overbearing wife by hiding out in his allotment shed and painting figurines for his wargames with his agoraphobic friend, Graham, and dreaming of his heroic alter-ego, the battle mage Casimir the Destroyer. When Mr Parsons, one of the other allotment tenants, petitions to have Trevor removed from his disgrace of a plot (he's not there to grow stuff!) an argument ensues that leaves Trevor with a corpse to hide. Unfortunately, this untimely accident coincides with the zombie apocalypse and Mr Parsons' return is just the beginnings of Trevor's problems. More pressing is whether or not he should try and save his wife and her beautiful best friend, who both he and Graham have a thing for.

Shed of the Dead (2019) Reviews
Zombedy gold !
Shed of the Dead has a familiar feel to it in some respects, but in others is outrageously different, combining the best of crude 12 yr old boy humour like the Inbetweeners with that endearing 'best buddy' friendship, though frankly much geekier, like Shaun. Laughed out loud at times. What a refreshingly good British comedy ! Sure it pays lots of respect to Shaun of the Dead, but that made me love it more because it didn't try to hide its reverence. Loved it !
Loads of fun
Felt very British despite there being some really top horror names in this like Bill Moseley, Kane Hodder and Michael Berryman. Bit like a fan film with a budget! Very funny, and cheeky, with a bit of gore thrown in. Just the ticket.
Does exactly what it says on the tin!
Shed of the Dead punches well above its weight and is clearly a love-letter to the genre. It doesn't try to duke it out with Shaun of the Dead - instead it offers up something a little more comic-book, and a fair bit more naughty!
