Arshinagar is an imaginary neighborhood, which is terrorized by two rival gangs belonging to the Khans & the Mitras. Both families are in the real estate business and are sworn enemies. Both have their eyes on Arshinagar slum, which they dream of developing into luxury apartments or shopping malls. To this end, both Mitra and Khan consult a corrupt politician called Deendayal who accepts bribes from both parties and promises both that he will have the slum evacuated.
