First Mission (2010) Reviews
Amazing, Real, Powerful, Emotional.
From the actors perspective: simply amazing. Each and every actor performs in a captivating way, able to transfer to us the exact emotions that his/her character is in. About the movie's subject depicted: a real scenario happening every day in the midst of our world's most abandoned places where guerrilla wars rage relentlessly and Medicine Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) try their best with minimal equipment and maximum courage. Powerful real life drama that comes down with the lead character's (Marina's) personal drama and explodes. If you like great performances, vivid real life scenarios and powerful emotions you are going to love this film.
Very good movie.
This is a very good movie. A woman loses her child and herself. She "flees" far away from "home" into helping out other people in very bad conditions. This movie depicts her story. Some scenes are shocking against the background of beautiful scenery. This is a contrast that creates a very interesting and enthralling atmosphere. There's great acting and true character development. I've read reviews that describe this movie as cliché. Suppose you're sensitive for being considered less sophisticated in exploring the wonder of life in cliché's. I that case you'd better spend your time in a different way. However, when you've had some true life experience, you'd be touched by her story and the other characters. You may recognize your own struggles in finding yourself and a home.
