• Powerful drama

  Frankly, I find some of the reviews of this movie astounding - bad reviews given based on the fact that the film is too disturbing?? Well, the reality of the matter is that some very very disturbing things do happen in life. There are people who choose to do some very evil things to others, for one reason or another. Shutting your eyes to such situations does not make them go away. I have to admit that had I not seen some people do great evil and managed to come to terms with it after a long time of being very upset, I would not have managed to watch through this movie. It is indeed profoundly disturbing to watch for someone who has not witnessed people do some truly evil things intentionally. However, for those who have, this movie makes a lot of sense, and I personally found the ending very rewarding. 10/10 and highly recommended. But definitely not one to watch unless you are prepared to put in some serious thoughts into why evil exists in this world. So if its existence disturbs you - stay away.

• Very Dark Drama that may be too much for some!

  This a good film in the way it makes the viewer feel deep emotion for the characters, however, I would have rather not seen the movie. It is a very deep and difficult topic to handle for many, like myself. The main character, Sara, goes back to her hometown in Denmark to see her brother after many years to find out things have not changed and some has turned to the worst. It is up to Sara to find her inner strength to defeat the demons that once haunted her in order to bring change to the present. If you are looking for a light-hearted drama, this is not the film for you. This film deals with a lot of the unfortunate evil in the world. The way subjects are presented is very creative and the acting is incredible. The only problem is content, and that is up to you if you can handle it or not!

  This movie is one of the most awful movies i've seen this decade. It's like a shitty poem by a teenager, one of those where the main character is looking longingly through a window for hours, as if the reason for it all, should somehow just fly by. The movie sells itself as a decent effort in trying to deal with one of the most disgusting taboos of mankind, but ends up being the offender itself, by insisting to never make the characters rounded in any way. The director should be very ashamed, apart from being a technically very ungifted director, he betrays the integrity of the victims of the real crime, which this movie is partly based on.
