Awful movie.
This movie is disaster. The plot is ridiculous, and as far from original as you can come. It's just like any other movie with burglars, a plan and a safe to get in to, but worse. Mostly because the acting is so bad it's hilarious, and there is no way someone older than 11 can take it seriously. Don't waste any time on this pile of junk.
Best without Ekman
Rule number one: The first movies use to be the best. Then the concept get worn out. Imagine that John Clease would have made 112 Fawlty Towers instead of 12. Maybe three or four Jönssonligan-movies would have been enough. And about Gösta Ekman - Sickan is not funny. At least not if you are more than five years old. He seem to be mentally retarded. But Vanheden and Dynamit-Harry and Rocky, they are very funny – in different ways. They have their own personalities. Sickan is just stumbling and fumbling. PS. My comment will not become a better one if I add one more line. DS.
The main character may be gone, but the jokes are still here!
You wold think that after 20 years from the original movie, the sequels wouldn't be that good anymore. Even though the main character left the series several films ago, this one is a lot of fun. The actors are getting older, though, and I fear this might be the last film. It would be SO nice to finish the series with "Jönssonligans Sista Kupp". I can understand that many people will not like it just because they changed the concept quite dramatically a few films ago, but it's your loss. This is a very well put together film, and this humor really never gets old. I really hope they make a final sequel.
