SCARS is a psychological thriller, written and directed by Canadian filmmaker Sean K. Robb. In this stark and disturbing story, Scar - a raven-haired punk with blood under her fingernails - and Scarlett - a blond beauty with a penchant for extortion - discover that they enjoy killing men together. 'Killing dudes is easy,' says Scar, as the two women embark on a violent and ruthless killing spree, pursued by the mysterious Det. Mike. A story about what happens to human beings who allow themselves to be consumed by nihilism and misanthropy, SCARS is an exploration of morality and ethics in a post 9/11 world - a tense and terrifying film that's part character study, part slasher flick.

Married Men Beware
Two women decide they have had enough of men so they start killing them. A kind of Thelma And Louise meets Natural Born Killers meets I Spit On Your Grave. The one woman who goes by the name Scar (she doesn't divulge her real name) has most of the anger issues as we see her family upbringing wasn't the best. This is done to justify her need to plunge knives into peoples bellies. Her friend has a habit of dating married men and then extorting them for cash. Together they go clubbing at night taking with them a butcher knife that gets used when they lure men in the alley. The film seems slow at times as you get several scenes of people watching TV for a minute or two which adds up. They don't really get into their backgrounds or what makes them tick. They show Scar's dad rolling a joint but don't touch on anything. Lots of stabbings. shootings and a beheading with a butcher knife. Overall not a bad flick.
I am a stockbroker.
Two women named Scarlett (one actually named Scarlett and one made it up) team up and kill guys. There have been better films made about a real bloody battle of the sexes. Danielle Cole is the crazier of the two and does a horrible camera glance in the last scene. The blood props were rank amateur especially in the first kill scene, and in the scene where they kill Henry with a stab to the groin. They were "so bad it's good" a place where I don't think the film makers wanted to go. Ever hear of a blood pouch? You place it under the clothes, puncture it and it looks like your were stabbed. The turn the camera away and come back to the scene didn't make it. They used the same butcher knife for every kill, something difficult to carry around and conceal, but suddenly it pops out of no where. The film has a constant drone of Arab Spring monologue on TV, most likely to create a contrast or meaningful metaphor I missed... like liberating Libya is like liberating women, they just turn around and kill you. They hit a guy in the head and green stuff splatters on the wall. How did they get all that blood over the bathroom walls by the tub? The whole unknown unknowns speech at the end was silly. How do you know there are unknown unknowns? It is an assumption. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
