This is the story of two best friends who share a brotherly relationship. Ajay (Ajay Devgan) lives with his widowed mother and Raj (Akshay Kumar) with his uncle (Gufi Paintal) as his father (Dalip Tahil) lives in another town. They are in love with Pooja (Karisma Kapoor) & Madhu (Nagma), respectively. Raj`s father is a wealthy man and after graduation his uncle asks Ajay to bring his birth certificate so that he can arrange a passport for him and set him up for work in Canada.
